I am sure that most of us are a little bit more than freaked out about all this in the news about BPA in plastic bottles. I myself just threw my 32. oz Nalgene away that I drink (drank) water from all day long. I just ordered a new Nalgene online that is BPA and phalate free. But what about our kids? Owen always drank from the Avent bottles, how many chemicals has he ingested I wonder? Today while he was napping I did a little looking around on the internet to find safe, BPA free, sippy cups. These are some of the safe ones I found:
*BornFree
*Avent trainer sippys (but IMO these leak, leak leak!)
*Sigg toddler water bottles
*Playtex Coolster Tumbler, Insulator, Sipster, Create my Own, Insulator Sport and Sip & Discover

i heard about this..that is good to know..too bad that i have all these sippys that i probably need to get rid of!
Damn the BPA...my kids used those playtex plastic liners in their bottles...they couldn't have been good! Like everyone else, I have a whole cabinet full of different types of sippies...gah!
I heard about this months back but had forgotten, so I just packed up my Avent bottles to toss. So sad but better safe then sorry.
The name is a stressful topic. we probably won't share our final pick when we do pick though. we'll leave something for a surprise!
