hands are not for hitting

Chris is out of town all week. He left Sunday to go to Indianapolis, IN. Last night he flew to San Francisco, and then he's on to San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles before he returns home Friday morning. It goes without saying that this is going to one long week. Owen and I are having fun hanging out- trying to keep busy so we don't remember how much we miss daddy. We have been running and walking a lot, going to the park and pool, and I am sure we will make more than one trip to Target, Publix and the mall.
Yesterday afternoon we went to Costco and then to Barnes and Noble where I found a perfect book for Owen. It's called "Hands are not For Hitting". Sometimes when Owen gets frustrated and can't expressive himself he hits. I remind him that hands are not for hitting, that hitting hurts. We'll see if our new book can teach us a thing or two:)
