Well things have just been crazy around our neck of the woods. Pardon my lack of blogs, as if many people read them anyways:) Melissa and Maddie were here for 2 weeks, we did the Orlando/theme park thing for a week, and then the day after they left my parents came to visit for 4 days. My wonderful husband must have been suffering from "Brinkman overload". No, just kidding, he really wasn't because of all 4 of the visiting Brinkman's helped out so much. I think some of you know this already, but our house was on the market and it sold, so it was once again "moving day" for the Roberts clan. We moved exactly 1 mile from our previous home to a house that is just about 500 sq. ft. larger- but it makes so much of a difference. The bedrooms are all bigger, Owen has his very own dedicated playroom, the kitchen is huge and open and we have a screened room on the back. All this on a quiet culdesac. None the less- packing and moving was not too fun. But with Melissa's help I was able to get a lot of packing done "Owen free". And with my Mom and Dad here to help we were able to get the whole house unpacked, crap up into the attic, pictures hung on the walls in just 4 days time. Thank you thank you thak you to my family:)
Owen has done wonderful with all the chaos as of late. Still sleeping great, eating like a horse and growing like a weed. Yesterday while grocery shopping at Publix Chris put him on the scale and he weighs 35 lbs. And my baby turns 2 next month on August 19th. His latest and greatest is to tell you what color everything is (that is if the color is one of the following: yellow- his FAVORITE color, orange, blue, red, or green).
With my schedule being so crazy my running schedule is a bit off, but I am working my way back into the swing of things. I have a 10K on 8/31, the Race for the Cure 5K on 10/18, a half marathon on 10/19 and I am debating on attempting my first full marathon in January (the Disney World Marathon in Orlando).
Chris left this afternoon for a short business trip to Minnesota. He'll be back tomorrow late evening.
All of this excitement and not a single new picture to share:(
