Happy Mothers Day!

Well another weekend has come and gone around here. Friday Chris was gone all day, out at the TPC Sawgrass golf tournament in Ponte Vedra with friends and colleagues. I wanted to go too because his company had a nice, air conditioned chalet to hang out in right in the 17th green. Who doesn't like to watch golf while sitting in the ac drinking a cocktail? But unfortunately spouses were not allowed to attend the round on Friday. Saturday Chris had to go into the office for an hour or so and after he got home we went to an early dinner at this great seafood place in St. Augustine. And when I say early, I mean early. We ate at 4- Chris and I joke that we eat early like old people. Mothers Day was excellent. I slept in till 7:30, yes, that is sleeping in around here, and when I got up Chris had made Owen and I breakfast (eggs and toast, juice and coffee). Owen had colored me a Mothers Day card and Chris (I mean Owen) gave me the sweetest Mothers Day gift. It was a gorgeous charm bracelet with a letter "O" initial charm. It was very thoughtful. I have had 2 pregnancy losses in the past 6 months, so it meant the world to me that Chris made a big deal out of Mothers Day for me. For lunch we went out for Mexican food (my fav) and we finished off the day burning some energy at the pool. All and all- an excellent weekend.
