Orlando

So we are back from our Orlando trip and while it was so much fun, it was also quite a bit of work keeping an almost 2 year old and an almost 9 year old happy at the same time. With that said, Maddie is way easier to please than Owen. It was great that the condo where we stayed was only one mile away. That allowed us to get up and out early, spend 4-5 hours "theme parking" and then come back and allow Owen to take a real nap. Owen is not a child that will nap in the stroller or the carseat. It worked out fine though. Sea World was terrific. Owen loved both feeding the dolphins a fishy snack and watching them from underneath in the ac. The other big hits from Sea World were: the giant sandbox in the shade, the kiddy water play area, our breakfast with Elmo and the giant cupcakes. Aquatica was awesome and I highly reccommend it to anyone visiting Orlando. In the toddler water play area there were plenty of things for Owen to do, including mini versions of the adult slides. Owen pretty much had no fear and had a blast going down the slides by himself and with Maddie on a tube. Five days and five nights of theme park adventures. All and all a great trip- and Owen even fell asleep in the car on the drive home (which he never does, not a car sleeper).
