I'd like to think that I am an organized person. Not nearly as organized as I was 2 years ago before Owen came along, but still organized. Like at any given moment you could ask me where something was and I could tell you exactly. For instance, after Chris returned from Minnesota Tuesday evening he had a head cold and sinus stuff going on. He said, where is the Afrin, it's not in my dob kit where I thought it was. I instinctively knew somehow that it was in the kitchen "junk" drawer. (You know, the drawer that has a lots of important stuff in it- but it's all kind of thrown in there together. I'd rather just call it my misc. drawer.) Maybe it's really not instinct at all, rather that I had pretty much just packed and unpacked most of the house myself in the past week. This brings me to the title of my post. I totally could remember putting my camera in my purse to keep it safe and handy for moving day. Also knowing that my parents were here visiting I wanted to make sure to have it near to get some great Grammy/Pop/Owen shots. Too bad I couldn't find my camera to save my life. (Like where was it yesterday when Owen went into my closet and put on my green Ugg boots and was walking around the house?) Until this morning that is. After I turned the house upside down I found it, and just guess where? It was up in the cabinet with my wine glasses. Now why on earth would it be there? Hmmm. The only thing I can think of is that on the evening of moving day, after busting my butt for well over 15 hours, I poured myself a glass of Pinot Noir, sat down and enjoyed it. That was the last I saw of my camera until this morning. I also took a few random pictures of the house even though it is still in a semi state of chaos. What's with the blue carpet you ask? I have no idea. Wouldn't have been my 1st choice, or 9th or 10th choice. I do know 2 things about it though: 1) It is great at hiding stains created by a 2 year old & 2) It is awful to keep clean having a 120 lbs. dog with white fur.

oh my goodness, that's too funny about your camera. Sounds like something I would have done leaving it with the wine glasses :o)
That's so exciting that you guys moved to a bigger place...good for you! Looks like Owen is loving his playroom! I'm sure you guys will too since his stuff will have a home! :o)
Love the new place! The blue carpet reminds me of our old house in Sterling, where we had blue, green, and pink carpet upstairs (the 3 girls were allowed to pick our own color - what!). Glad you found your camera!
