Chris decided this weekend that he wanted to take up the sport of tennis. We have beautiful courts right here in our neighborhood, and they are less than a 5 minute walk from our house. After Owen's unusually long nap this afternoon (almost 3 hours and 45 minutes!) we headed to Target to get cheap $20 tennis rackets for the whole family and some tennis balls. We wasted no time getting started with our new sport and headed out to play right away in the 95 degree Florida heat. It was so fun. We aren't very good at all, but I think all three of us deserve an A for effort. Owen had a great time running around and getting balls for us and trying to hit the balls himself with his cute little racket.

the racket looks almost as big as he is! I am glad you guys had fun playing tennis together. It seems like it would be a fun sport for all ages!
