Well it's been about 10 days since my last blog post. That is because there just hasn't been too much new in the world of The Roberts to write about. The weather here in Jacksonville has changed. It's cool in the morning and overnight, but the daytime temps climb into the 70's (which is perfect to me).
Saturday afternoon Chris and I decided to convert Owen's crib into a toddler bed as an experiment and see how he does. The verdict is still out, we may keep it as a bed or we may turn it back into a crib. We'll just have to see. My mom's advice was, and still is, to keep him in the crib because naptime/bedtime is never a hastle, he goes right down and naps for 2+ hrs a day and sleeps for at least 12 hrs per night. This has not happened since the bed switch-a-roo. Owen really is a kid who had always valued his sleep. I guess I am asking myself, if it wasn't broke what was I trying to fix?
Just a few pictures to share of Owen "helping" out while I watched my nephew Corban one afternoon. It really is precious to see Owen in the "big brother" role, and I pray and pray that one day he will actually get to be a big brother!

Those pics of Owen and Corban are so sweet and I'm sure that you and Chris will be blessed with another child. God works in mysterious ways and you are young so you have plenty of time to keep trying!
Owen looks like a super assistant! What a cutie :o)
When the time comes when you have another, you will miss it being just the 3 of you, but I'm sure it's hard to see it that way...
Owen looks like a natural. I'm praying for you guys!
How's the toddler bed coming along? I have been meaning to ask. Addy will be in her crib until she leaves for college, if I have my way ;o)
