Christmas '08

Christmas week was fun, chaotic (both sides of our family came to Florida this year), hot (weather was in the 80's), and I am sure like most of you, we are happy that it's over! My inlaws and sister in law came into town on Monday. My sister, neice and parents came Tuesday. Wednesday, Christmas Eve, we ate dinner out at P.F. Changs and then went to a friends party. Christmas Day we had dinner at my brother and sister in laws house and we proceeded to drink all day long. Brilliant idea. Friday we did outlet shopping and went to the alligator farm in St. Augustine. Saturday the whole family left and sadly I am still trying to clean up and get Owen back on his regular schedule. Blah blah blah. This is the sort of boring post that is going to make my sister Melissa say that my blogs are boring.

Your blogs are boring. This particular post could have easily been spiced up to make it more interesting.

Lots of crazy things happened while were there that you left out. For instance...while driving home from the outlets you were bitching and complaining...all of which was caught on Madison's new video camera. You then proceeded to flip out and demand she notify you of any future videotapings and had a hissy fit until I deleted the video.

I brought a bunch of baking stuff with me to make Christmas dinner desserts. The night we arrived we went to dinner. When we returned we found your dog had eaten:

1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of coconut
1 bag of white chocolate chips
1 bag of peanut butter chips
1 bag of nuts

Therefore devouring the majority of ingredients for the 7 layer bars I had planned on making. Your husband insisted the dog was going to die from all of this and was so worried about Harley's impending death...that he went over to his brother's house for drinks.

Should I keep going??

Melissa's comment should inspire her to start blogging, if she isn't already ;o)

It looks like Owen and Madison are BFF's...such cute pictures!

Have fun de-programming your little guy!
