Happy New Year 2010!

i know i know, it's almost as if i fell off the "blog" wagon for good this time. haha. just like everybody else we have been pretty busy. and when i do have ten minutes to myself it seems i like to catch up on a magazine, goof off on facebook or even catch a quick nap. also trying to squeeze exercise and laundry in when i can find the time. but, alas, the roberts family blog is back an i plan on updating like i used to! the kids are great. owen has been out of preschool since Dec. 22nd so i am so happy that he starts back up this tuesday. this makes me wonder what am i going to do to keep him busy all summer long. errrrrrrr??? he has started saying the funniest things. like today i caught him on the potty reading runners world magazine and i asked him "buddy, what are you up to?" he then turned to me and said "oh nothing to worry about mommy". laugh out loud. he thinks that he's 3 going on 13. or last week we were watching tv together and i was lightly touching his cheek and after about a minute he turned to me and said "mommy i love you, but that's enough". freaking hilarious. our ohio state buckeyes won the rose bowl yesterday. woohoo- go o-h-i-o! chris is busy like always with work. in 2 weeks he goes to jacksonville for an entire week. ugh. nothing makes you feel more alone then being home alone for a full week knowing your entire family is at least 2,200 miles away. i am just staying busy trying to keep with the kiddos. i haven't run much since the half marathon. instead for now i am concentrating on circuit training and spin classes at the gym. my sister melissa is getting married in july so owen, olivia and i will be flying back to n va for a week in april for her bridal shower. 5 hour cross country flight with 2 kids by myself- i say shoot me now:) and now miss olivia. she will be 4 months tomorrow. wow it has really flown. she is the happiest, sweetest most chill baby girl. she is content just to tag along with us anywhere we want to take her. sleeps great at night, some days she's just a so/so napper. only cries when she's over tired. this little girl always, and i really do mean always, has a smile for you. and her smiles can really just brighten up your entire day. she's sitting up well in the bumbo seat and her new pink tea party exersaucer is on it's way via ups. hope everybody is having an excellent start to the new year. 2009 was so so good to chris, owen, olivia and i and we are hoping 2010 will be even better.
