Just a beautiful Sunday

Well Rascall Flatts Friday night was so much fun. They were great, we had such a fun night. Didn't get home until after midnight though, so Chris and I were dragging all day long yesterday. Today is just a beautiful Sunday in the sunshine state. It's about 80 out. I went for a run this morning around 10 and it had already gotten pretty warm out. I did 4.48 miles at a medium pace.This week at the gym I had been taking classes and doing the elliptical instead of running (I much rather prefer to run outside than on a treadmill) and boy could I tell while I was running this morning. Only once this past week did I run with Owen in the jogging stroller. I much prefer my running to be my "me" time. I'm running the Gate River Run in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday March 8, less than 2 weeks away, I am excited. I'm running with two friends of mine that live on our street, Sheri and Stefany. Stefany is a highly trained athlete, regularly competes in 1/2 marathons, etc. Sheri, on the other hand, is not that highly trained, therefore I will most likely be running with her at her pace. Owen is napping, Chris is snoozing on the couch and I am getting into the shower as soon as I am done with this. As for the rest of the day- probably just hanging out at the park (with half of the other families that live in Bartram Springs- the place is going to be packed!).
