So my sister Melissa calls this afternoon to say that something had come up and that she and Maddie weren't able to come to FL Thursday as planned. Instantly my heart sank. I thought quickly, what in the hell could have come up? I have been looking forward to and planning this Vail trip for so long and now I can't go? My mind started to race and then she said "April Fools". What a dummy. I forgot today was April 1.
Just two pictures tonight of Owen before bed. He's wearing my favorite "I Love Mom" pajamas. By the way, it's hot here. Not complaining at all, but it was like 86 here today. I hear there is a fresh layer of snow in Vail though:)
