Last nights dinner didn't go as well as you would hope that a dinner with 2 two year olds would go. Mizu Suishi last night was Chris, Owen, me, Dylan, Jen, Patricia, Isabella and Hector (who was the real reason we were going b/c he leaves for Iraq in less than 2 weeks, but he didn't end up even coming because he had aggreed to help a friend move bags of gravel for a new driveway). This is my theory: with Owen and Isabella in the same car riding to dinner together they probably thought that they were going somewhere fun to play. Not that they were going to be going to a suishi restaurant and have to sit and high chairs and use inside voices. In general, Owen is awesome in restaurants. He colors, eats, plays with misc. toys that I have brought for him, etc. Not last night. He and Isabella fought over toys, snacks, crayons and whatever else they could possibly fight over. And Owen kept saying to me "hold you" b/c he wanted me to hold him instead of eating my dinner. The food was, by the way, very very good. Lesson learned. A few pictures of them outside after they just couldn't take sitting any longer:
Anybody doing anything fun this weekend?

uugh...sometimes it's better to just stay home than deal with kids at dinner :o) We took the kids to a Japanese Steak House one night, and it was a disaster...I think we just went too late and they were tired, so the fire scared them. I ended up getting my food boxed up, yeah, KOBE isn't quite as good at home :o(
That Isabella is such a cutie!! OK, so is Owen, but you know what I mean.
