a little bit of chaos

So I know I may have mentioned this before somewhere on here, but my brother and sister in law just moved here to Jacksonville. Chris and his older brother Mike both work for the same company and as you move higher up in the PSS ranks, it is expected that at some point you will come down here to Jacksonville and work at Corporate headquarters. Live in Florida for a few years = not so shabby. Mike just took a position that is equivalent to Chris's boss Jerry, but Mike has no say at all with Chris's job, they wouldn't put two brothers on the same team, one working under the other. Anywho, Mike and his wife Sheri have 4 children together and Sheri has a daughter from a previous marriage. Back to the title of my post. With the help of my wonderful friend Jen, together we watched all the kids yesterday from 7:30am-2:45pm while the truck with all their possesions was being unloaded into their new home. Good news is they moved into our neighborhood, and from our front door to theirs is about a 4 minute walk. So it was Jen, me, a 5 yr old, a 4 yr old, Owen, a 16 month old and a 4 week old. Plus 2 dogs, one theirs one ours. Man was I worn out (and had a huge headache) when the 4 that weren't mine left.

On another note: Rarely do I mention Chris on this blog, even though it is suppossed to be our family blog. But this I feel is totally worth mentioning. This Monday Chris began a 12 week power challenge along with some other colleagues. This entails a very strict diet, meeting with a nutritionist often and this is the kicker, waking up at 4am 4 days per week to meet with his trainer and work out from 5am-6am before showering and heading off to work a very long day. I am so proud of him and he has done so so so good this week.
